What Just Happened
By now we are all aware there’s a global pandemic that we thought was going to last two weeks… blah blah blah… so what did we do with all our time? Apparently, The Francis and Armitage Houses are fairly tired from entertaining themselves during the quarantine. Lots of barbecues and beers, which sounds “lit”, and very Mid-West American, we are here for it. It is officially the time where you look forward to nice weather and throwing a big piece of steak (or Beyond Burger) on the grill. Chilling on your back porch and call it adulting is completely acceptable; at least around these parts.

What Is Going On
October marks the warm cup of coffee time of year! We are doing a call-out for coffee suggestions! Everybody knows that caffeine is the only thing that provides us with true happiness. Some of our housemates have been exploring coffee shops in the area to get us in the autumn feels. Speaking of Autumn, since it's cold out, there has been a request for everyone to "please keep your shirt on." I personally have not met the house residents but my advice to them would be to embrace the sweater weather. Ugh… Francis House things.
The bars are open until 1:30 am now! If you are more of a go to sleep at 10 pm kind of person, here are some more options for Fall things in Chicago:

Go Apple Picking! There is plenty of apple orchards around Chicago, and who doesn't love a good posed apple picking Instagram post. You can even carve a pumpkin or something while you’re at it.
