Subletinn requires all of its guests to follow the guest policy for as long as the CDC officially declares COVID-19 a pandemic and for the entirety of a guest’s stay* within the Subletinn during the declarations from the CDC RE: COVID-19.
Subletinn communities are allowed to introduce a guest/s into the community under specific conditions:
Sending a message on the allocated Subletinn group-chat.
Message is to contain specifics of the potential guest/s timeframe within the community;
A question regarding other Subletinn members’ comfortability with said guest entering the Subletinn community.
A condition of this query: if any community member discloses that they are not comfortable with said guest/s entering the premises, the guest/s cannot enter the community.
The guest/s must wear a mask and either wear gloves or regularly utilize provided sanitizer whilst indoors.
The guest/s cannot be in common areas (common areas pertain to those outlined in the Subletinn tenancy agreement) unless they have proof of verbal or written consent from every member of the community.
There cannot be gatherings of over 40 people.
*Please note: Subletinn management does not encourage guest/s to stay overnight in a community member’s room.
Following the City Of Chicago’s quarantine requirements, residents traveling in from states marked with the Travel Advisory level of “Avoid Travel” must either:
Complete a 10-day quarantine
Be fully vaccinated two weeks prior to arrival
Pre-arrival with negative test result (no longer than 72 hours prior to arrival)
While a resident is quarantined, they must stay in their room from the date of positive test results until the 15th day from this date. A quarantined resident must adhere to the following:
If and when the quarantined resident requires the use of amenities such as, but not limited to: the bathroom or kitchen, they must let the entirety of the community know exactly 15 minutes in advance.
Once advance notice has been given, the quarantined guest must leave their assigned quarantined room only after the 15-minute period of advanced notice.
A quarantined resident must wear a mask upon leaving their assigned quarantine room.
A quarantined resident must use disinfectant spray to wipe down any surfaces during their time of which amenities were utilised.
Upon the 15th day of completed quarantine period, a COVID-19 test is required to return a positive result to allow for the quarantined guest to exit the quarantine conditions outlined above.
It is required that all residents within the community remain transparent with other community members regarding potential exposure to COVID-19.
If exposed, a resident must immediately start quarantine and confer with the community to ensure all residents are aware of said exposure. You are required to obtain a COVID-19 test and follow up with the community immediately RE: the results of the test.
If you test negative:
You are not required to remain within the allocated quarantine room and you are no longer required to remain under quarantine conditions.
If you test positive:
You are required to undertake a quarantine period as outlined in the above (‘Quarantine Policy’).
If a community member returns a positive test result:
You, along with all other residents, are required to be tested and/or opt into a self-quarantine period (of which will be in line with the ‘Quarantine Policy’).
Subletinn will provide the following as precautionary methods:
